About
The Entomology Club at Virginia Tech is centered around experiencing entomology in the field. Join us for any one of our excursions to local hiking trails and nearby steams to collect insects for fun, or for your collection.Not studying entomology at school? Not to worry! We welcome (and encourage) all non-entomology students to participate in our club as a low commitment, low stress way to see what bugs are all about. We'll supply all equipment you might need (but please bring your own if you have it) and can teach anyone anything they need to know to become a bug-catcher-extraordinaire.Scared or creeped out by bugs? Many of us were at some point in too. Learning about and catching bugs is a fun way to conquer your fears.We offer rolling membership, and welcome anyone who wants to tag along to our events before deciding to join.
